Sunday, August 18 from 3-5pm we are hosting an Art Reception featuring the new works of local author and artist, Allison Marchese.

About the Artist: Allison Marchese is a self-taught folk artist, and an American painter with a love of local history. After writing her first two history books about Columbia County and the Hudson Valley, she began capturing the local historic sites and scenes she discovered through her art. 

Allison paints in both a traditional and original contemporary folk art style. Her work is exclusively painted on repurposed raw wood and antique barn board she has gathered locally.
